This fall, the Balzekas Museum will again offer an 8-week introductory Lithuanian language course for beginners. Classes will be conducted through Zoom. Space is limited to 10 applicants.

Time: Saturdays 9AM – 10AM
Fee: $225 (10% discount for Museum Members)
The instructor is Karilė Vaitkutė, the Museum’s Genealogy Department chair and Lithuanian Museum Review editor. An experienced Lithuanian language instructor, Karilė is also currently an adjunct lecturer at the University of Illinois, Chicago.
Students will need to have access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and internet connection to participate in the class. Log-in instructions will be after registration and prior to the first class.
Museum members will receive a 10% refund for the language registration fee.
