"Cantilena" Concert at the Balzekas Museum

Event Description

On Friday, March 8, at 7 pm in celebration of the Restoration of Lithuania’s Independence, please join us at the Balzekas Museum for a very special concert by the award winning Lithuanian vocal ensemble “Cantilena”. 

A group of 12 women vocalists from Ukmergė, Lithuania, “Cantilena” is a  prizewinner of many international competitions with concerts held in Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Germany, Sweden, Portugal, and Croatia. In 2000, “Cantilena” attended the Lithuanian anniversary days in Rome and performed at the Basilica of St John Lateran (Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano) and St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican.
